This year's graduate exhibition for the San Francisco Art Institute was held at the old San Francisco Mint, once the largest gold and silver mint in the nation, and one of two buildings to survive the 1906 earthquake.
The exhibition "Currency" held work from almost 100 graduate students, including myself, and showcased everything from sculpture, to photography, installation, live performance, and a book room with artists books from graduating students.
Shame on me. I took a break from updating my website all summer. I moved to the North Bay. I also cowrote a script to a short film called the Tent. We also wrote a feature we are in the process of selling. No more info on that right now. However, the short film is complete and being submitted to numerous festivals. Marcus Stricklen, my friend in AZ, cowrote it and directed it. Thanks to some funding help he was able to shoot in some beautiful locations and it turned out better than I could have expected.
